Spray Tan Prep Guide

24 Hours Before Your Appointment

  • Exfoliate thoroughly using a non-oil-based scrub or exfoliating mitt. Focus on dry areas like elbows, knees, ankles, and wrists.

  • Shave or wax at least 24 hours prior to allow pores to fully close

Day of Your Appointment:

  • Arrive with completely clean, dry skin—no lotion, oils, deodorant, or perfume.

  • Skip makeup entirely.

  • Wear loose, dark clothing and simple sandals to avoid transfer or rubbing.

Pro Prep Tips

  • Avoid last-minute skincare treatments like facials, peels, or retinol for at least 3–5 days prior—these can cause uneven fading or patchiness.

  • Lip balm is okay, but keep it minimal and avoid getting it outside the lip line.

  • Plan your schedule: get your spray tan 1–2 days before your event for the most natural, settled color.

Spray Tan Aftercare Guide

            First 8–12 Hours

  • Avoid water, sweating, humidity,

      or any skin-to-skin contact.

  • Do not apply lotions, deodorant,

      or perfume.

                     First Rinse

  • Rinse with lukewarm water—no scrubbing.

  • Cosmetic bronzer wash off (this is normal).

  • Gently pat dry—no rubbing.

            After Your First Shower

  • Begin moisturizing daily with a lightweight, hydrating lotion to maintain an even fade.

  • Avoid long, hot showers, exfoliating products, and oil-based formulas.

  • Skip chlorinated pools, saunas, and excessive sweating when possible.
